The Dim Age - Ascent
This project is an Animatic adaptation of a role play session, set in the dark fantasy world "The Dim Age".
The animatic is still work in progress, it's going to last 4min40.

This is my third year's short movie, made in a team of 4.
The project is to illustrate a song from Jacques Brothers with a 2min 3D short.
"Pina grow strawberries in her North Pole-located greenhouse. She takes good care of them, like a mother, and the strawberries grow huge and start to act... like animals.
The day of the harvest, the mutated strawberries realize they are bred to be consummed and are about to be murdered by their mother.
They fight back, and in the panic Pina let slit her secateur against the geenhouse's tarpaulin, causing the wind and snow to burst in.
Pina and her monstruous experiments die, frozen by the great North coldness."

Storyboard
I made a few animatics/storyboard for personal or school projects. This is something I love to do in my free time and I would very much like to make professional storyboard one day.
I included in the showreel some work in progress stories like Fake Cherry , and omitted some that didn't have colors.

I also worked on some of the storyboard on my graduation film Almost Unreal and was in charge of the "storyboard" of the imaginary world.

MistBorn
My most recent animatic is a fan adaptation of a scene in the novel Mistborn.
It is still work in progress yet I think it took me a lot less time to make than other projects, I used photobashing for the first time and a lot of tricks in After Effect to make it look better, I really like this effective approach to animatics.
I thought it would be a good exercice to adapt a scene from a preexisting script and universe.
